When appropriate, areas with magazine capacity restrictions will receive a 10-round magazine substituted for the factory 30-round magazine. The Daniel Defense M4A1 utilizes a cold hammer forged 14.5″ 41V50 chrome moly vanadium steel barrel built to true MIL-SPEC with a 1:7 twist rate, M4 profile, heavy-duty phosphate finish, and incredibly durable hard chrome lining. The Daniel Defense Extended Flash Suppressor has been permanently pinned and welded to the barrel to bring it to the required 16″ minimum and keep the rifle safely out of NFA territory. What truly makes the M4A1 is the handguard: the Daniel Defense’s M4A1 RIS II quad rail that has been in use by SOCOM’s SOPMOD II weapon systems for more than a decade. Topped off with a rugged and ergonomic over-molded pistol grip and stock made from glass-filled nylon, and Daniel Defense’s Mil Spec + Cerakote finish and you have a rifle that’s ready to meet almost any task head-on.
